Town Hall Meetings - these meetings focus on various aspects of mental health. They connect people with resources and ask the community to identify gaps in services so that we can bring collaborative attention to filling those gaps.
Movie Events
Grand Haven Dinner and a Movie is offered the 2nd Friday of each month. Follow our Facebook page or refer to the monthly program calendar in each location, for all details.
Across the Bridge
Extended Grace/Momentum Center has teamed up with Muskegon Community College to provide people with opportunities to learn about other cultures on a personto-person level…right in our own backyard.
We recognize that the drawbridge is not just a physical barrier between the two communities, but a symbol of the great cultural divide that exists between them, particularly as we explore racial division and the very different landscape each presents in terms of racial and ethnic diversity and inclusion.
“I was valuable as a person, not in spite of the panic disorder, anxiety, and depression, but I was valued as a whole person.” -Lindsey H.
The Momentum Center leads bus trips to understand our country’s past in order to create a more equal and just society for everyone. The Civil Rights Road Trip is experiential learning for individuals, organizations, and corporations.
Consulting & Training Programs
The Momentum Center offers organizational consulting and training to create healthier, more productive work spaces. Topics include Mental Illness, Management By Strengths, and Managing Anxious System.
Prom with a Purpose is our signature event. In addition to being our major annual fundraiser, it brings together people from across the fabric of society for a night of joy, dancing, dining, and breaking down the barrier of stigma.
